Our Story

The Emerson’s Foundation has been set up by Emerson’s Supermarket in conjunction with Uluru Bar & Grill to highlight the positive contributions both businesses make in their local community.

We want to make 2017 a year where we continue to use our resources to help transform local communities through charitable giving.

Through the supermarket’s own charitable fund with Nisa’s Making A Difference Locally Fund (MADL), Emerson’s Supermarket, as an independent store in the heart of Armagh’s historic city centre, continues to add value to the local community by helping local charities and organisations.

MADL helps Emerson’s Supermarket to achieve this by allowing them to nominate charities or good causes which are local to them to receive a specific donation through the store’s MADL fund. Donations may be to local sports teams, hospices or to one of the many charities.

Showing the community they care is vitally important which is why the store’s donations to the MADL fund and its own independent fundraising initiatives, are being highlighted through The Emerson’s Foundation. We hope you enjoy our success stories and if you would like to nominate an organisation to receive a donation click below.
