The Emerson’s Foundation raises £422 for Action Cancer at Uluru Bar & Grill fashion show

Uluru Bar & Grill is proud to donate £422 to a leading Northern Ireland cancer charity following a hugely successful night of fashion, cocktails and fun.

The ‘Autumn and Winter Fashion Show’ held Upstairs @ Uluru attracted an audience of over 100 people and was greatly supported by local independent businesses trading in Armagh city centre.

The event, compered by radio and TV personality Malachi Cush, was held to support Action Cancer’s ‘Painting The Town Pink’ fundraising initiative.

Dean Coppard, Head Chef at Uluru Bar & Grill, pulled out all stops with his team to make the evening one to remember.

Speaking at the presentation to Action Cancer’s Corporate Fundraising Assistant, Rebecca Dalzell, Dean said: “The atmosphere Upstairs @ Uluru is electric when we have an event like this on. It is superb and we are delighted to have raised so much money through our charity auction.

“We all know someone who is or has been affected by cancer. We are delighted, through The Emerson’s Foundation, to be able to donate £422 to help Action Cancer carry out their vital work.”

Raffle prizes on the night were sponsored by Emerson’s Supermarket and Kerri-Ann Harvey Make-Up. The Best Dressed Lady competition was sponsored by Bronze Tanning Studio and music on the evening was performed by LR Project.

Alessie Magowan, a committee member with The Emerson’s Foundation said: “Events like this are fantastic because it’s an opportunity for the team from Uluru Bar & Grill and Emerson’s Supermarket to join forces to create an event which attracts large crowds, entertains while raising money for charity.

“The Emerson’s Foundation is delighted to be able to present £422 to Action Cancer’s Rebecca Dalzell and we hope to work with Action Cancer in the future.

“On behalf of Uluru Bar & Grill and Emerson’s Supermarket, The Emerson’s Foundation would like to thank everyone who came along and supported our ‘Autumn and Winter Fashion Show’.”
